Payments & Receipts
How to verify a payment, see who paid what, and look up a specific transaction — as either the channel owner or a subscriber.
Receipts
Every confirmation message a subscriber receives — a fresh payment, a renewal, or stacking a new tier onto existing access — includes a receipt line:
- The amount paid.
- A payment ID, always present, so there is something to reference even when no transaction hash is available.
- A link to view the deposit transaction on a block explorer, when SideShift returned a hash for that payment (not every coin or network returns one).
The payment ID in that message, and everywhere else it appears, is tappable — it opens the bot with the full payment detail (see below).
Subscriber payment history — /memberships
/memberships shows a 🧾 History button next to each channel. Tapping it lists every past payment made on that channel — not just the one backing your current access, since each renewal or tier purchase is its own payment. Each row shows a status icon, date, amount, and the tappable payment ID.
You can only see your own payment history. A subscriber can never see another subscriber's payments.
Owner payments view — /paywalls → 📊 Payments
As the channel owner, open /paywalls, manage a channel, and tap 📊 Payments to see:
- Settled revenue and payment count for the last 7 days, last 30 days, and all time.
- The 10 most recent payments across every subscriber and every tier on that channel — status, date and time, amount, which plan was bought, who paid, and the tappable payment ID.
A subscriber is shown by their Telegram @username (or first name if they have no username) rather than a raw numeric ID, resolved automatically — every subscriber in this list has DMed the bot at some point to pay, so this always works.
Looking up one payment
Tap any payment ID — in a receipt message, in your History list, or in the owner Payments list — and the bot opens with the full detail for that payment. What you see depends on who you are:
Shown to both the owner and the paying subscriber
Channel name, plan, status, amount, created and settled timestamps, what coin/network it was paid with, and a link to the deposit transaction when a hash is available.
Shown to the channel owner only
Who paid (their @username), how many times the checkout page was viewed, the underlying exchange shift's raw status and rate, and any issue flagged on that payment.
The settlement transaction — the payout to your own wallet — is never shown to the subscriber. It only ever appears in the owner's view.
Access is checked on every lookup: you can only open a payment if you are the channel's creator or the subscriber who made that specific payment. Anyone else — even with the payment ID — gets told they don't have access.
When there's no transaction hash
Not every coin or network returns a deposit transaction hash through the exchange that powers these payments. When one isn't available, the payment ID is still always shown and is still the right thing to reference if you need to look something up or ask for support — it uniquely identifies that payment regardless of whether a hash exists for it.
