Add the bot as admin
Go to your private channel or group, then Administrators, then add the Cloakd bot. Enable Invite Users and Ban Members permissions.
Type /paywall
Open a private chat with the bot and type /paywall. For a group, type it directly inside the group. The bot will redirect you to a private chat.
Set your price
Enter a USD price between $1 and $10,000. Subscribers pay in any crypto; you receive your chosen coin.
Choose settlement coin and wallet
Pick which crypto and network you want to receive (e.g. USDT on Arbitrum). Your wallet address is never shown to subscribers.

Can I have multiple paywalls?
Yes, up to 10 paywalls per account. Each has its own price, access type, and subscribe link.
Can I change the price after setup?
Not on an existing paywall. To change the price, delete the existing paywall and create a new one. Existing subscribers keep their current access.
What happens to existing channel members when I set up a paywall?
Nothing. Existing members are not affected. The paywall only applies to people who join through the new subscribe link.
What crypto can subscribers pay with?
Over 160 coins across 40+ networks: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Solana, and many more. Subscribers pay in whatever they have; you receive your chosen coin.
When do I receive the payment?
The conversion and settlement to your wallet happens automatically via the exchange, typically within minutes of the subscriber paying.
Is there a fee?
Cloakd takes a small platform fee from each payment. The fee is deducted before settlement. You receive the net amount.
Can subscribers get a refund?
Refunds are not currently automated. If a subscriber has an issue, they should contact you directly.
What if I lose the subscribe link?
Type /paywall list and tap Copy Link next to the paywall.
Can I offer a free trial on a one-time paywall?
No. Free trials only apply to subscription paywalls (monthly, 3-month, yearly). The trial converts to the first subscription payment.
What if the bot gets removed from my channel?
The bot will notify you immediately. New subscriptions will stop working and existing subscribers won't be removed automatically when they expire. Re-add the bot as admin with the correct permissions and resume your paywall with /paywall list.
