Cloakd allows users to create cryptocurrency payment requests, share links, and receive payments securely and privately.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing accurate wallet addresses and other payment details.
  • You must comply with cryptocurrency laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • You may not use Cloakd for illegal activities, such as money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financing.

3. Third-Party Services

Cloakd integrates with third-party APIs (e.g., SideShift) to facilitate transactions. You acknowledge:

  • All transactions are executed by SideShift, and Cloakd does not handle or store cryptocurrency directly.
  • Cloakd is not responsible for failures or errors caused by SideShift or other third-party services.
  • By using Cloakd, you also agree to SideShift's Terms of Service.

4. Liability

  • Cloakd does not provide custodial wallet services and has no access to user wallets.
  • Cloakd is not responsible for failed payments due to incorrect wallet addresses or user errors.
  • Cloakd is not liable for losses incurred due to blockchain protocol issues, such as network delays or attacks.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on Cloakd, including but not limited to logos, branding, and the platform design, is owned by Cloakd and protected under intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce or use this content without permission.

6. Termination of Service

Cloakd reserves the right to terminate your access to the service at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Engaging in illegal activities or violating these Terms.
  • Suspected fraudulent or suspicious behavior.
  • Any other reason, with or without prior notice.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from the use of Cloakd shall be resolved in accordance with Dutch law.

8. Prohibited Use

Cloakd may not be used in connection with any of the following activities:

  • Sale of illegal goods or services of any kind under applicable law
  • Any activity involving child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors
  • Human trafficking, forced labour, or sexual exploitation
  • Terrorism financing or support for sanctioned persons or entities
  • Fraud, scams, or deliberate misrepresentation
  • Money laundering or layering of illicit funds
  • Any activity that violates applicable EU or Dutch law
