Paywall Access Types
Choose the model that fits your content. All types charge a USD price that subscribers pay in any crypto. A single channel can offer up to 5 of these as separate pricing tiers at once — see Managing Your Paywall.

Type details
One-time and Lifetime
The subscriber pays once and keeps access permanently. There is no expiry date and no renewal. These types are functionally identical — both grant permanent access for a single payment.
Monthly, 3-Month, Yearly, and Custom
Subscription types charge the subscriber at regular intervals. Three days before each renewal date, the bot sends a reminder. If the subscriber does not renew within 24 hours of the expiry, they are removed from the channel.
Custom works the same way, just with a billing length you choose instead of one of the fixed options — for example a 6-month or quarterly plan.
Renewals extend from the end of the current period, not from the payment date. If a subscriber buys a different tier of the same channel while already subscribed, the two stack — their access extends rather than switches or resets. See Renewals & Expiry for the full lifecycle.
Pricing
Prices are set in USD and range from $10 to $10,000. Subscribers pay in whatever crypto they hold; you receive your chosen coin via automatic conversion.
Cloakd charges a 1% platform fee deducted from each payment before settlement. There are no monthly fees or setup fees.
Free trials
Free trials are available on Monthly, 3-Month, Yearly, and Custom subscriptions only. You can offer a trial period of 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
